Trout in Egg Sauce
(Pstrąg W Sosie Z Jaj)

Ingredients

1 trout
Lemon juice
Salt and pepper
Dried herbs: thyme, oregano

Egg sauce

3 tbsp butter
3 hardboiled eggs
2 tbsp minced parsley


Method

1.   Clean and gut the trout, cut off the head, tail and gills. Cut into thick slices.


2.   Coat the fish slices with lemon juice, salt, pepper and dried herbs.


3.   Wrap the fish in aluminum foil and bake in the oven on both sides for 30 minutes at 400°F (200°C).


4.   Prepare the egg sauce: In a saucepan on low heat, melt the butter. Mince and add the three hardboiled eggs and stir in the parsley. Coat the baked trout with the egg sauce and serve with some cooked sliced carrots and potatoes.
